Nick Gebhardt
Inventer of Scope Chaps
Nick Gebhardt is the inventor of Scope Chaps and has been involved in the precision rifle shooting industry since his first major competition in 2004. Shooting as a hobby eventually led to him working in the industry for a major rifle scope manufacturer. His experience as a competitor helps drive him to excel and constantly look for areas of improvement with both his shooting skills as well as equipment selection.
Nick's time in the Army saw him in both the enlisted side as well as commissioned officer. He had three deployments throughout his career with the final one to Iraq as a Blackhawk MEDEVAC pilot. He retired with over 20 years of service as a Captain, HH-60M Pilot in Command.
LeandraGebhardt
Leandra is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a retired Major in the Montana Army National Guard, and an essential part of Scope Chaps. With years of experience in healthcare and the military, she brings a unique mix of precision, problem-solving, and leadership to the business.
While still working as a physical therapist, Leandra balances her professional life with being a mom and contributing to Scope Chaps. She keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, ensuring every product meets the high standards.
Leandra’s dedication to her family and the business is what truly sets her apart. Whether it’s helping streamline production or coming up with ideas to improve the customer experience, she’s always focused on making things better.

Scope Chaps started with a simple idea: to protect rifle scopes from scratches and damage during competition and outdoor use. After years of seeing scopes take unnecessary wear and tear, Nick decided to create a better solution. With Leandra’s support and expertise, Scope Chaps was born—a product designed to meet the needs of shooters like us who expect their gear to perform, no matter the conditions.
